Having first begun life as a house church in 2006, we have had an adventurous ride over the past 12 years.  The number of highs and lows, celebrations and challenges are more than anyone ever expected, but with a current congregation size of around 60 people and a clear vision for the future we are optimistic about what God has for us.
Rural Ministries have been with us for nearly all that time, and it is fair to say that without their help much of what we have done would not have been possible.

They have provided various forms of support to us over the years, for which we are genuinely grateful.  It is as we reach the milestone of appointing our first pastor that we take stock and say thank you to everyone who has prayed for and cared for us over the years.

Matthew Kerr was inducted as our pastor on Sunday 29th April 2018.  Having worked part time for the church for the past 3 years in the role of elder, he is not new to us, but the position of pastor is a first for both him and the fellowship, so please continue to pray for us all as he settles into his new role.

The induction service was a wonderful time of celebration and community, the director of the Irish Baptist Association was present along with others who have supported the church plant from the beginning.  But one of the outstanding features of the service was the atmosphere of family. As Matthew and the church both made commitments to one another, we also all renewed our covenant promise to seek God together and support one another in our Christian walk and ministry.

Our desire is to make the good news of Jesus’ love known in our community.  Please pray particularly for our children’s work “Whizz Kidz”, our youth work “Teen Spirit” and our “Open House” drop in for mums and babies which is attracting a lot of interest every Tuesday morning.   Thank you.

If you ever come to Northern Ireland, please look us up, more information on our church can be found on our website, click here
