Get Connected

Over the last decade, technology has transformed how most people live, relate and work. It's hard to think of many areas of our lives and work that hasn't been changed by technology, yet it can become too easy to feel isolated despite these advances. Connectivity has never been more important to us. Whether in person or virtually over Zoom, together, we can learn, share, support, pray and grow as we share the good news of Jesus.

Different ways of connecting with RM

Rural Ministries is a growing network of churches, organisations, pioneers, and practitioners united by their desire to see the countryside served by grace-filled people of mission, empowered by God and biblically relevant for the changing context. We invite you to connect with us to learn about our work and share your knowledge, ideas, and feedback.

Becoming part of our Network

As the world becomes more complex, the need for expert support and professional advice when making decisions about church and mission increases. Our network is primarily intended for organisations, churches, pioneers, and practitioners who worship and witness in the rural context and think differently.

As part of our network, we'll keep you up to date with all of our latest news, events, campaigns, and opportunities to support us! It saves us money to contact you by email, and you have the option to unsubscribe at any time.

Rural Mission Hubs

Rural Mission Hubs aim to support and encourage pioneers, practitioners, and permission givers, as well as those looking to explore pioneering rural ministry and mission. They are an opportunity to share stories and encouragements, pray together, explore ideas, and listen to God together. It is a gathering of like-minded explorers with an open door to anyone seeking a safe place to be, and as such, invites you to join us on the journey.

Each hub aims to meet two or three times each year and has its own character with no set format.

St Cuthbert's Way Day Pilgrimage

Rural Ministries and St Cuthbert's Way Churches Together invite you to a one-day pilgrimage on Saturday 18th July 2026. We’ll be walking a section of St Cuthbert’s Way from Wooller to Cuthbert’s Cave, about 8.5 miles.

Pilgrimage is a sacred and intentional journey. So let’s take time out of our regular routines and rhythms to create space for encounter, to listen and be with God.

This promises to be a wonderful experience as we move through the beauty of Northumberland, walking ancient paths and encouraging one another.
